Saying goodbye

Today was the day. The day I was leaving Santander. I got up early and got ready to go, making sure I had packed everything, and ate pancakes Rosa made me while waiting for my family to come pick me up. When they did arrive, we took several pictures together and enjoyed each other’s company for the last time. Rosa even sent us off with several presents which we were truly grateful for. Then, after one last goodbye, I set off to France with my family.

I really have enjoyed my stay in Santander with my amazing Au pair family. They were so welcoming and lovely, and I couldn’t have wished for a better experience. I hope to come again to visit them sometime.

I highly recommend anyone reading this to have an adventure of their own. As Ellie from "Up" once said: "Adventure is out there!"
