Baños de Ola

As today was a Monday, it was back to normal morning, i.e. English lessons for the kids. After their lessons, we decided to go to the park and then spent a while there before heading back home to eat. After eating, Rosa's mum came round with her granddaughter - Rosa's niece. While Rosa's niece played with Alma, I relaxed in my room and caught up with my best friend Natalie. After a while, Rosa asked me if I wanted to come to the Baños de Ola in Sardinero, and of course I said yes. This is a party that is held in the Jardines de Piquío every year for a week in July.

It was so pretty!! There was music, dancing, and several stalls (mainly containing food). Plus, several people dressed up as people from the time this party is celebrating:

We walked around the stalls and took several pictures, and then Rosa bought some candyfloss for everyone and it was huge! I have a picture here for you, though you should bear in mind that we had already eaten some before I took the picture.

After this, we wandered along past the beach and bought an ice cream each.

Soon after this, we said goodbye to Rosa's mum and niece, and then we wandered back to the car to go home.

Another super day!
