And then there were two

As you can see from the title, there was only two of us today - there was no Alma. What I mean, is that she was here in the morning for her English lesson, but soon after, she was taken to a birthday party for the rest of the day, leaving me and Daniel alone. In a way this was a good thing, as whenever I was with both of them, Alma usually took control and was more demanding, and so Daniel could get pushed aside a little bit, so today allowed me and Daniel to spend some time together. We started off by playing table football (I won miraculously!) and then we played table hockey (Daniel won). After this, we played a couple of card games, one of which was Uno, until it was time to eat.
After eating, I had an hour to myself to relax until we went to the beach. Rosa had organised for Daniel to meet a friend at the beach so I decided to come too. Here, I mostly sunbathed and listened to the mums talk in Spanish while the boys played in the sea, dug holes, and even buried each other in the sand.

Once it got too cold to stay at the beach (it can get very windy), we all got some ice cream and then we returned home with Daniel's friend and his brother who stayed to play for a little while.
After a while, it was time to pick Alma up from the party, so Rosa and I went to get her. When we arrived, Alma was still in the swimming pool and so Rosa and I stayed a while and ate tortilla.
Once we got back home, we ate, and then Alma and I watched Spanish TV with Spanish subtitles, including programs such as The Big Bang Theory and The Simpsons. While watching TV, we noticed that the final Harry Potter movie was to be shown later that evening, and so we watched that before going to bed.
Another amazing day!
