Good old English breakfast

Today, I woke up to Alma who had made a full English breakfast, and despite her not having baked beans and so having to use another type of bean, it was very delicious. After eating, Alma suggested we (the children and I) go to the basketball court where Alma played with her skateboard and Daniel played with his football. We didn't stay long as Daniel got a bit bored so we headed back home to start the English lessons. I got them both to write about the house and about the different rooms it has, and then found exercises online for them to try based on the mistakes they made in their written work.

After eating, Alma and I went to the beach to collect sand in order to make bottles with sand and a picture inside (not sure if it has a name).

The bottles didn't work out too well as it just ruined the photo Alma used so we ended up leaving messages inside the bottles along with the sand. After this, Alma and I spent some time in my room updating our blogs, uploading a video to her YouTube channel and talking.

Later on, Daniel had a dentist appointment, and so Alma and I went with him and his mum in order to explore more of Santander. While waiting for Daniel to finish at the dentist's, Alma and I went shopping. I bought 3 postcards and some Spanish playing cards, which I recently found out only have 40 or 48 cards in a pack.

On the way back home, Rosa drove us to "La Virgen Del Mar" which was really pretty. We didn't stay long as it was very windy and so very cold, so I only had time to take a few pictures and admire the view before getting back in the car to go home.

Once we got home, I called my mum for a little catch up and then we ate.

What an amazing day!
