Rain rain go away

As you can see from the title, it rained a lot today. This was annoying, as it stopped us from doing things we wanted to do, but we found things to do inside. We started off the day with a game of Twister which was fun. Here is a picture of Alma after she collapsed:

After that, it was time for the English lessons to begin. While I am here, I am to give both Alma and Daniel an English lessons of 40 minutes each from Monday to Friday. This morning, I got both of them to write about themselves for my blog (I aim to type these up and upload them tomorrow), and then found an exercise online for Alma, and practised vocabulary with Daniel.

After lunch, I played several card games with Daniel before being asked if I wanted to go to "El Parque de Las Llamas" (The llama park), seeing as the weather seemed to have improved. I am afraid to say that this park did not contain llamas, but this proved to be a lot of fun, and it was very beautiful.

At this park, there is an indoor play area for children aged between 7 and 12, however, there is a scary part of the play area that Alma wanted to go in, but was too scared to go alone. She wanted me to go with her, but obviously I am too old for this. :(

However, being the determined girl she is, she asked the manager if I could go in with her, and to my surprise, he said yes. It was difficult because of my size, but I managed to get through it.

When we got home after leaving the play area, me and Alma made coasters from a used magazine and a lot of coloured pens.

In the evening, after eating, I showed Alma my blog and she showed me a book she made containing a variety of things, including drawings.

Yet another busy day!
