First day

What an amazing first day! Having arrived late last night, I hadn't much of a chance to really do anything, but today was really fun. After breakfast, which was churros by the way (yummy!), my Au Pair family took me on a walk around where they live and it's so pretty as you can see.

Along the way, we ended up at the beach which is really close to where they live. I thought it was too cold to actually go swimming but Alma and Daniel soon proved me wrong.

After the walk, we took some time to get to know each other better, and I even got a tour of the house. Later on, we went shopping, and I found a cute fridge magnet which was actually quite cheap. Since getting home, we have been filming funny videos and making a nappy cake. Yes, a nappy cake. I had no idea these existed before but they're actually really cool. It's not quite finished in the picture below but you get the idea.

For dinner, we had tortilla which was so delicious!! And then after eating, we watched "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone".

So overall, I believe this has been a fantastic first day, and I can't wait to discover more!
